Sedalia Dave Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I know that lumber jacks are good but this is pressing your luck.
twelve mile REB Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 That was good even for the good. The tree was well balanced and straight notice how flat the cut is . Still and all man oh man was that close to those buildings so as Forty Rod said "skill" and a life time dropping them were he wants them. 12
Elk Creek LeMieux Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I read about that somewhere else... And they didn't just drop it. They spent a fair amount of time climbing it and limbing it so that it would fall strait. All part of the job skills gained by doing the kinda work they do.
DocWard Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Saw that one before. First thing I thought was "And now it's Miller time!" (Or whatever their adult beverage of choice is)
Shorty Jack Hammer Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Scott cut several trees for us behind our cabin in Packwood WA that were leaning towards our cabin. He did a great job. In fact here's a silly video I made of him dropping one https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10200293382605506&l=6770861602099873604
