Smokey Shayne Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 I have had the pleasure to shoot with many of the people on ya'lls list. And met even more of them than Ive gotten to shoot with. Every time I go to a big match, including EOT, I will rarely make any posse request.....other than my daughter and traveling partner. That has allowed me to meet and shoot with some really great folks. A short list I can think of right off Lead Dispenser Badlands Bud Phantom Gunner Gatlin Longhunter Widder Ive met most of them, but never had the pleasure to posse with them. Yul Lose Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 I've been thinking about this one quite a bit, that's why I haven't posted. I'd shoot with nearly anyone on the wire, sure we have differences but when we posse up those differences pretty much disappear. I have shot with a few that I won't shoot with again and I'm sure there's some that say the same about me. I like to work the unload table because of severe back issues that limit my ability to do other standing jobs. I like to visit with folks when they bring their guns to the table after they shoot and I've found that some of these folks just flat out don't like to talk. I've been scolded a few times for saying anything after some of these folks have a miss or a P. Those are the rare ones, 99.9% of the cowboys and cowgirls that I've had the pleasure of meeting at the unload table I consider my friends.
