That looks to be easier to play it that way than the regular way.

 

If I'm sitting at a keyboard, I need to know both the right and left hand part. With two players, they only need to be able to do half as much. Looks more impressive, though.

Agreed. The first time I realized I liked classical music was hearing this during the opening credits of Rollerball back in the 70s.

 

We once had a CD of "spooky" music and sound effects for Halloween that was published by Disney. It had this piece on it, but it said Mozart was the composer.

Very interesting versions. I like the glasses w/ water.

I have seen Canadian Brass Quintet twice, and this is one of their signature pieces.
