8 correct. Only a couple of the ones I got right were guesses. Most of the ones I got wrong were.

5 right. Some of these are really arcane. I guessed wrong between the Swordfish and the other British torpecker! Swordfish was, IIRC...now...open cockpit. Swordfish effectively sank the Bismark (torpedo fouled the rudder, and the Royal Navy administered the coup de gras).

I always have difficulty with the Italian aircraft.

About all I know is they took a 10:1 oil/tomato sauce ratio in the crankcase. ;)

Correct, but it had to be olive oil. :rolleyes:

Naw, olive oil performs poorly at high temps. Ant Italian chef knows that. :)

I saw the Mustang lines in the XP-46, but I did not see any of these in Oshkosh in 1986 or 2012.

You missed 2011. You woulda seen some serious stuff! :D
