Congratulations to my lovely bride Kathouse Kelli for winning Lady Wrangler at the Colorado State Champs and top lady overall for the second year in a row, amongst a bunch of other side events too.

Maybe we should move from OK to CO to claim the championship status next year.! Heh, heh!

Thanks to all for a great shoot.

I didn't realize you have filmed any of my shooting. That helps me see some areas I need to work on.Those were some really fun stages

Jackeroo, come ahead on! It was great to see you all again!

Stirrup, if you didn't know I was filming, I was doing a good job. The last thing I want to do is get in the way, or cause a shooter to lose concentration because they see me with the camera. It's always a crap shoot who gets filmed on what stages, depends on where I shoot in the order and where everyone else does. Shooting when ready makes it a bit easier as I can adjust where I shoot. I do try to get at least one of everyone, but it doesn't always work out that way.

Howdy Grizz,

Thank you for doing the vids and pics. Thanks to Red River Wrangler, Sweet Lil and all the other folks at Pawnee Station for putting on a great shoot. I had fun shooting with everyone.

P.S. Grizz you need to change your avatar so everyone can see the new Grizz.

My wife will enjoy seeing the videos of me. Thanks, GD! My Marlin was a little sticky on two of those stages despite generous application of Ballistol.

I hope she enjoys them! That's one reason I like to take the videos, lots of folks like to be able to show family and friends just what 'that cowboy thing' they do is all about, and it seems to hit home better when someone they know is actually in the video.

Grizz, you do so much to promote your club and this sport. Thanks for all you do, and thanks again for helping a flatlander feel welcome. Still feeling a little rough, but I will do my best to be back next year

My knees and feet are still recovering, but I had a ball not only with the shooting, but what little I did to help out painting targets and such.

You're welcome back any time. How long a drive was it to get home?

It wasn't too bad of a drive since it was all main roads and interstate. I pulled out of the range about 1:15 my time and pulled in my driveway a little after 7:30. I learned a lesson this weekend. With my lung issues and the thin air, when I start getting wiped and winded, I need to take a break. That was one of the reasons I left casino night so early

While I hate to discourage anyone from attending EOT I recommend you avoid Founders Ranch. The ranch is 2500 feet higher in elevation than Pawnee Station and you would be in even worse shape after shooting there. So what should you do? Put in an application for Winter Range. The elevation is much lower there and your lungs will do much better.
