Bad Jeemes Kelly
Today I was in Wittaker's Gun Shop, in Owensboro KY (they do internet sales too) and they had about a 3 foot high stack of new Rossi's in .45 Colt on sale for $369 (Yep - 3), which is about $100 less than Bud's. The sign said they had .357 and .44 Mag too. I checked and they were sold out of the .357, but they were still looking in back for .44's when I left. Might give them a call. Here is the sale on their web page: http://www.whittakerguns.com/special.htm http://www.whittakerguns.com/
Rusty Two Guns
Thumbs up for Whittakergun's guns! I always enjoy stopping there and at the Moon-lite BBQ when in that part of the state.
Bad Jeemes Kelly
Thumbs up for Whittakergun's guns! I always enjoy stopping there and at the Moon-lite BBQ when in that part of the state. I stopped at both yesterday. Moonlight isn't the best BBQ in Owensboro, like all the locals say, but it's still the only BBQ all-you-can-eat buffet I have ever seen. Whittakers, likewise, is not the best gun shop around, but it sure has the most and widest variety of guns to look at - plenty of used stuff. Saw one of those .44 Special Vaqueros with the (I think) 3.5" barrel, blue, like new for $454.
Three Foot Johnson
New Braztech Rossi 1892's under $400 are pretty common - less than 4 months ago, I picked up a new .44 mag from Chestnut Ridge Supply for $397, shipped. A couple of hours smoothing the insides, replace the ejector spring, hammer spring, and friction stud spring with lighter springs and they don't make a half bad loaner or club rifle.
