Old Scatterbrain Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 By focusing on accidental deaths, you are drawing attention away from the tens of millions of small children murdered by handguns and assualt rifles every day.

Ramblin Gambler Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 By focusing on accidental deaths, you are drawing attention away from the tens of millions of small children murdered by handguns and assualt rifles every day. To get to this number, you simply count anyone between ages 0 and 100 as 'children', and count each time someone reads or tells a story as a separate murder.
Old Scatterbrain Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I thought I had chosen a figure of such ridiculously large proportions that the sarcasm would be self-evident. Perhaps not. So allow me to point out: A- if just ten, not tenS as I said earlier, but only ten million people died every day, that would eliminate half the world population in a year. 2-If only ONE million children were killed every day, that would outpace the global birth rate by over 2.5:1
Blackwater 53393 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Who was it that said that there were three ways to totally mislead the public, "Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics!" Between that and the statement by someone that 49% of all statistics were made up on the spot by those quoting them, and all you can do is be sarcastic!!
DocWard Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Who was it that said that there were three ways to totally mislead the public, "Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics!" Mark Twain popularized the saying that there are those three kinds of lies. He attributed it to Benjamin Disraeli.

And the tuchus lechers who fawn on them believe it.
