Cheyenne Culpepper 32827 Posted June 13, 2014 Share Posted June 13, 2014 update July 8 good news, the second biopsy came back, it is the same lymphoma in both breasts, a good thing, chemo was started last week and is working as the tumors already seem to be shrinking... a good day indeed. Update, 7/2 /14 cat scan showed masses localized in the breast only, very good! but, have to wait for second biopsy result, hopefully that will show lymphoma too, if it is breast cancer then a different story. chemo has started, with 87% cure rate if all lymphoma.... a good day! My wife was just diagnosed with lymphoma... don't know the exact type yet, or the course of action, that should be next week, your prayers are highly sought after,, please at least we now have an appointment with the oncologist,, that is the cancer doc's name isn't it.. thursday at 1:20 update, diagnosis is B cell difused lymphoma.... treatable if caught soon enough, had blood drawn today too, we got a email of the results and the white count is low, not good, later those results disappeared,,, somebody goofed? Pet scan tomorrow at 12:30, cat scan early nest week and a heart scan too.... pretty worried.... oh yea, she had a bone marrow draw today too, chemo is scheduled to start in 2 weeks.... we may be contacting Anderson in TX.... 6/23 had a diagnostic mammogram done today, followed by an ultra-sound... found more lumps in the other breast,, have to have more biopsies next Monday,,,,,, ugh.....!!!!
