Deuce Stevens SASS#55996 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Have for sale a pair of Ruger Old Model Vaqueros in 44-40. 5.5" stainless. Guns are stock and are in excellent to like new condition. Don't believe they have been cowboy shot. Very faint Ruger rings on cylinders. Factory rosewood grips. Gorgeous guns just waiting for some action from a BP shooter who will appreciate them. I don't believe we will ever see Ruger make anything like these again especially on the tried and true larger frame. No boxes or papers. Guns will be shipped to your FFL bubble wrapped and packed with care.. FFL must be willing to accept from a individual. $1400 shipped, As always first "I'll take em" posted here gets them. "I'll take them" if the chamber throats are not the undersized version (.424-5) Rugers were sometimes known for and will actually take .429 cast bullets? Do you know what these are? Beartrap SASS#57175 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 These are indeed getting rare and are a deal! If I didn't already own 3 sets I'd be jumping on them myself. The throats are no problem for any smith to do, or Ruger will do them for free, if in fact they are the undersized editions.

I'll take these, either way. if your GS has any reasonable fee for reaming the chamber throats, I'll pay that plus your asking price - I suspect this will be the solution. If not, I'll take them and have it done on my end.
