SOLD 38spl Spur/Carty Short Stroked Marlin

I've been collecting a couple of these Spur/Carty Marlins over the past few years and have decided I'll never compete with them. So It's time to let them go. I'll start with this beauty......

 

38spl 24" Cowboy Limited Short stroked Marlin. This Gun was at Cowboy Carty's shop last fall for a few upgrades. I just came in from testing it. It fed, shot and ejected little 105 bullets great! Ive never shot it in a match. I'm confident it will run!

 

Details: Custom engraved front and rear stocks, lever wrap, brass bead front sight, very few wood dings, slight bluing wear near loading gate. (pictures will show how nice it is) stock is factory full length.

 

The rifle is in remarkable condition for a race gun. No dings in metal. Besides above mentioned bluing wear, I'd put the other bluing at 95-97%. Very, Very Clean!

 

Add up the Cowboy Limited Rifle, Short stroke work and laser engraved wood, shipping back and forth and you'd have spent well over $1,700.00

I remember the Gun well. This was an original "Spur Marlin". I worked on the rifle last fall for Ringer. This was an early job done by Spur so it needed some updates. such as trigger job, Solid cocking Lug, And tweaked the timing on the carrier. These rifles are in short supply and my work list is a mile long.
