Deuce Stevens SASS#55996 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 These parts fit the very early production Uberti 1866 in .38 special. These guns were shorter in the frame, carrier was shorter and pins for the links were also smaller as well. What you get is a Cody Conagher short stroke, which includes lifter, lever and links. Also included will be the skelotinized brass carrier, right and left side plates without loading gate, and firing pin extension (these were also larger in diameter than the new style). If you have one of these guns you will know the difference and you also know that short stroke kits do not work. $100 gets it all shipped to you. The parts are in good working order but are being sold as is so please make sure you know what you are buying. First "I'll take em" posted here get them. Thanks for looking.
Jess Nicktem, SASS #47284 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Good deal! My 66 is old but I don't think it's old enough for this.
Church Key, SASS # 33713 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I've got a Navy Arms 66, S/N 921. I'm assuming this is the era for these parts. If you think it's probably about the right time frame, I'll take em. I live near Cody, so can have him install them.
Red Rider Rudy Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Deuce, if Church Key dosen't want these? I'll take them.
