Train Robber 13659
Was gifted an 1885 low wall . Lined barrel ,completely refinished gun done very professionally other than the barrell was bored all the way through so the liner is very obvious. I presume the serial # is on the upper tang ? This gun has a tang mounted peep so I wanted to know before I disturbed the sight. I might open a sealed box of UMC black powder 32-20 to try out in this one :-) I'm thinking this is not an exspensive gun at this point in it's life due to the refinsh and lined barrel but advice is asked for ! Bitterroot Jake, SASS #9532
Serial number should be on lower tang. That where they are on my Higjwalls so i assume the low wall is the same
Train Robber 13659
Hi Jake , No evidence of a serial # on the lower tang just a patent date . Thanks, Train Robber
