Any recommendations for web locations that have reasonable detail for disassembly of a 92? Thanks for the recommendations. Sagerider

I have looked in the 1892.

I have watch good gunsmiths take them apart and reassemble them.

My opinion is, disassembly is not really difficult.

Putting it back together, is not a job for me.

-----------------

My instructions are to clear rifle of all ammunition.

Place in hard lockable hard case.

Put case with rifle in truck.

Make sure to have money for lunch and gas.

Travel to gunsmith and ask if he would mind working on my rifle.

Can I get you lunch?

------------------

I have several 1892 Winchester clones.

I shoot them to the point of abuse.

They run rather well and have since 1992 when I started in this game.

But I will have a gunsmith do the disassembly and reassembly of my 1892s.

Thank you very much for being there.

Visit the Marauder website.

Use the empty brass to contain the ejector.

It is not as bad as an M1-Carbine complete teardown or a Browning double-matic or a Ruger Mark I or II.

I bought a browning 92 that had the spring on the cartage stop in backward 2 trips to gunsmith before we found out what was wrong they are hard to put back together.

Hey Galloway

Not that hard at all .

If you pay attention to the video and to what you are doing .

And with some mechanical ability .

Its not that bad at all.

If you buy Steves Gunz video http://store.stevesgunz.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=14 ( best info out there )

There are a lot of videos on youtube to watch.

They are really not so bad to work on.
