Pictures of my $500 SKB

Rancho Roy

Recommended Posts

Finally got around to snapping so photos.

I cut the barrels back to 24" which I find "just the right" length
Removed the springs for the ejectors so now it just extracts.
Made a big ol brass bead for the front sight
Took it to the range with three different loads Heavy, Medium and light and the trigger worked fine 100% of the time.

I'm liking it!

Did I ever tell you about the time I walked into a gun shop and they has a 1954 Winchester 52C Sporter with a price tag of $550.........In such good condition they thought it was the Japanese copy and not an original. I've had folks offer me $3500 the day I bought it and recently I was offered $6500!

I paid $450 for my first one...har! Weren't that pretty though and splinter forend.

2nd one as good and identical as yours but $700.

3rd I paid $400. Had $80 in gas and drive to N Tennessee to get it though cause fella wouldn't ship. It had one box of shells through it like new. Identical to yours.

Great find pard!

Great buy in today's day and age.

The stock already has a hairline split. Be sure to have it fixed before you use it too much.

Roy, for $500 your older M200 was a steal!

I too like SKB's. Had a pair of M200's that I tripled my money on. Have 2 left ...

Old M500, 20ga that is my skeet gun -
