stepnmud#33546 Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 I am original owner of this Uberti 1851 Navy and had R and D gunsmithing reline the barrel to .357 a half a dozen years ago. and think that was about a $95.00. So it's been awhile since I put this project aside, but the idea was to get a conversion cylinder and have it converted to 38 Colt . Now the Navy has a lightened main spring and freshly refinished wood grips and even have the original box. I think I may have shot this Navy 10 to 20 times with another conversion cylinder that I no longer have.
