Ya Big Tree
I'm getting ready to order and install a set of SliXPRINGS and the original factory springs were grooved badly. Question 1: Were they grooved from the lever cam not being flat or is this supposed to have a reverse bevel? Question 2: File and stone the bevel off to make it flat, or, not to file and stone the bevel flat? My first inclination is to file it flat but I thought I better ask some people with more knowledge than me. Thanks, Ya Big Tree
Colorado Coffinmaker
The original Lever Side Springs were grooved from wear, caused by the spring being too stiff. Belonged under a truck. Leave the lever alone, and leave the springs alone. The Slixsprings will work and track just fine right out of the package. Coffinmaker
