That is downright stupid. I hope they remember as they quote the freedom of information act that we also have the right to bear arms. This is just another attempt at taking away our freedoms.

Another reason I like Vermont, We don't CCW's, we just carry--no permit required. I like the list of media editors, should also include the requisite interactive map. The media doesn't seem to get thae 2nd. amendment protects the 1st they rely on.

One of the newspapers tried to get the list here in Maine, wasn't successful for them. If these list are published it would be like giving criminals a roadmap to where they can steal guns, where LEOs, prison guards or women who are in hiding can be found. Not a good idea.

They may as well at the same time post all addresses of safe houses for battered women. Sure makes sense too me. A lot easier for men to find and have an opportunity to beat all the women they want. It's their right to know.

Again.....folks this is not going to happen in NC !

I have it from some LEOs that I have trusted my life with and they tell me that in no way is it happening in the Tarheel State.

Maybe some where else..........but not there.

They don't spend the time or effort/money to do these kinds of things without the intent to do something with it. That publisher is lying through his teeth :angry:

Everyone here has a gun even the Amish so it's not really news worthy

I would be a shorter list if they published who didn't have one

Looks like the head of the newspaper has stated it was never intended to occur:

Me being cynical, it sounds like the legal department and maybe some people with some common sense had a chat about the possible repercussions of trying to do this
