Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
Don't think many red states will go for this idiocy. Dang jelly fingers....its purported! Link to comment
MBFields
That is downright stupid. I hope they remember as they quote the freedom of information act that we also have the right to bear arms. This is just another attempt at taking away our freedoms. Link to comment
Billy Bristol
maybe someone should start a database of media company owners and editors with complete addresses. Link to comment
Eyesa Horg
Another reason I like Vermont, We don't CCW's, we just carry--no permit required. I like the list of media editors, should also include the requisite interactive map. The media doesn't seem to get thae 2nd. amendment protects the 1st they rely on. Link to comment
Dusty Balz, SASS#46599
Someone should post an Internet site for jackasses that do not have any guns in their home. Damn I HATE liberals check out these half wits! Link to comment

Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
Story is in the Boston Globe this morning, including interview with the publisher, who claims they are going to assemble the list "but not going to publish it. Right. LL Link to comment
Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
Like a pundit said: newspapers don't assemble data with the notion of not printing it! Link to comment
Shawnee McGrutt
One of the newspapers tried to get the list here in Maine, wasn't successful for them. If these list are published it would be like giving criminals a roadmap to where they can steal guns, where LEOs, prison guards or women who are in hiding can be found. Not a good idea. Smoken D
They may as well at the same time post all addresses of safe houses for battered women. Sure makes sense too me. A lot easier for men to find and have an opportunity to beat all the women they want. It's their right to know. Link to comment
Apache Hawk 60642
Again.....folks this is not going to happen in NC ! I have it from some LEOs that I have trusted my life with and they tell me that in no way is it happening in the Tarheel State. Maybe some where else..........but not there. Link to comment

Chantry
Looks like the head of the newspaper has stated it was never intended to occur: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/01/25/newspaper-boss-says-gun-permit-database-idea-was-misfire/?intcmp=latestnews Me being cynical, it sounds like the legal department and maybe some people with some common sense had a chat about the possible repercussions of trying to do this Link to comment
