Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L
....that there are already regulations on firearm ownership and what firearms can be possessed. So yes, the 2nd Amendment IS regulated along other Rights he tries to prove his point with... contrary to what he may think. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/01/05/guns-ammo-columnist-speaks-out-on-becoming-pariah/?intcmp=latestnews GG ~ Link to comment

Mud Marine,SASS#54686 Life
Another tragic tale of the failure of Ivy League education. This fully tenured Yale professor must have been in the engineering department since he sure has no expertise in English, history or Government. His article showed a complete lack of understanding the etymology of words. The 18th century etymon of "regulated" is "well equipped". It has absolutely no relation to rules, laws or regulations. He was a typically intellectually dishonest liberal, an oxymoron, :-) prevaricationg with the hope that most people would not understand what our founding fathers really meant when they wrote our Bill of Rights. Making such a travesty of our founding fathers' efforts is only possible by never reading "The Federalist Papers" and other treaises and underlying documents of the authors of our "Bill of Rights" and are entirely unique system of government. Remember, we were not GRANTED our rights by a benevolent monarch of government, WE TOOK THEM FROM GRASPING HANDS AND CREATED OUR FEDERAL REPUBLIC despite strenuous and bloody opposition. It is a sad fact that the arguments for gun control are so utterly false that its proponents must lie in their attempt to sell it to the public. Link to comment
