Charlie Harley, #14153 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 We don't need no stinkin' punctuation!
Rye Miles #13621 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Yum!!! Nothing like deep fried dog with a stir fry of human thrown in!!!
DocWard Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I don't know why it made me think of it, but has anybody seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show? "Meatloaf, again?"
SOUTH-PACIFIC,SASS #59402 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 nothing wrong with a little osso just stuff it with rice for about a week before harvest time the meat should come out tender. some soy sauce or marinate in your favorate sauce for a couple hours then put on the barbe.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Wonder if I can get her recipe for FRIED GREEN TOMATOES?
Wolfgang, SASS #53480 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I can understand cooking the family . . . . . but the dog ? ! Keep the dog.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Wonder if that recipe calls for any of that special Donkey/fox meat from China?
Subdeacon Joe Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 I don't know why it made me think of it, but has anybody seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show? "Meatloaf, again?" For people in a certain age range, the question should be, "Anybody NOT seen TRHPS?"
Grizzly Dave Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Soylant green is people. Meat is meat, it's just a matter of cultural stigma that makes some much less palatable.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Send in the scoops!
Branchwater Jack SASS #88854 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 now that is funny right there
DocWard Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 For people in a certain age range, the question should be, "Anybody NOT seen TRHPS?" Good point! I think Grizzly Dave topped my reference, though.
Grizzly Dave Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I saw rocky horror once, the small theater played it every Friday or Saturday night and it was a spectacle of folks dressing up and participating. I don't remember much about it other than I was there. We might have been drinking a bit that night...
DocWard Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I saw rocky horror once, the small theater played it every Friday or Saturday night and it was a spectacle of folks dressing up and participating. I don't remember much about it other than I was there. We might have been drinking a bit that night... Drinking a bit? Say it ain't so!
Grizzly Dave Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Back then, it was likely more than just a bit, as evidenced by the fact we went to that movie, it wasn't exactly the sort of thing the crowd I ran with went in for. We went to laugh at the folks that really got into it.
Calico Mary Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 That sounds like my one and only experience with TRHPS....but drinkin' wasn't whut we'd been doing.....
DocWard Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Well, I'm going to have to admit to seeing it more than once. Enough to know most of the audience participation dialogue. Nope, never dressed up, danced or anything of that nature. Yes, I was usually drinking "a bit," or planning to...
DocWard Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Oh, and I thought I had posted this before, but it seems appropriate: http://www.buzzfeed.com/kmallikarjuna/7-helpful-grammar-tips-from-richard-castle It is somewhat risque,
Subdeacon Joe Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Only seen TRHPS in a theatre once. Midnight showing in Chico. Wore my suit just to be different. Do have the DVD of it.
Harvey Mushman Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Have had much fun over the years with TRHPS (once every 5 yrs or so). A generational thing whether you were a fanatic or just along for the ride (me). Harvey Lifelong Oxford Comma fan - taught well by my English major mother!
Rolan Kraps, SASS # 24084 Life Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Consider the following: "Let's eat, Grandma" vs. "Let's eat Grandma"
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Din't see the pic. Did I miss anything? Probably knot. I did see Groucho Marx in Duck Soup, however.
Earl Brasse, SASS #3562 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Really tests the saying "Tabasco covers all kitchen sins".
Subdeacon Joe Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Din't see the pic. Did I miss anything? Probably knot. I did see Groucho Marx in Duck Soup, however. Musta been a really big bowl.
Lazarus Longshot, SASS #44254 Life Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I did see Groucho Marx in Duck Soup, however. BMC, was that in the initial theater run? Laz
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 BMC, was that in the initial theater run? Laz Kinda doubt that any of the flicks I saw at the time, were initial theater runs. Town of 5200 don't get much respect from Hollyweird.
Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 COMMAS ? ya don't need no stinkin commas or was that COMAs CB
