Mad Dog Jack, SASS #77862
I found this, it's a little different... http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Liberals-find-comfort-level-in-NPR-of-gun-clubs-5107330.php Link to comment
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L
"The Liberal Gun Club backs a wide-open interpretation of the Second Amendment that lets law-abiding citizens possess just about any type of gun." Not to keen on wide-open interpretations myself...and they (liberals) elect folks that are against the 2nd Amendment...so I am skeptical, but interesting though. GG ~ Link to comment
Billy Bristol
I did like this quote though Even background checks go too far for most members of the Liberal Gun Club. Wooten says requiring lawful gun owners who have already passed background checks to go through the process again for additional purchases is burdensome and unnecessary - "kind of like having to take a driver's test every time you change cars." StirrupTrouble
I know a couple people that are members, and I can't speak for all of them, but these two are more like libertarians than liberals. They are staunch 2nd A supporters and pretty much think we should be able to do anything we want as long as we don't infringe on others and their rights. A lot of their political leanings are way out their for me, but I would march with them for the things we have in common Link to comment

DocWard
I would imagine I could get along with most of them, probably even enjoy shooting with them. Link to comment
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
I am glad to see them out there. I am always uncomfortable with the apparent ties that have developed between the NRA and the Republican Party. The Republicans are right on gun control. But they aren't right on every issue. The challenge, as I see it, is to have both parties on the same side of the gun control issue so that the other issues can receive appropriate attention, It won't happen anytime soon, but groups like this are a step in the right direction.
