Bama Red Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Fun to watch, but I played one game like that and hope to never repeat the experience!
Branchwater Jack SASS #88854 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Packers Atlanta game looks good, too
Big Sage, SASS #49891 Life Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I played in a couple, not fun.
Branchwater Jack SASS #88854 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Wow. The Philly game. I can't believe they are still playing in that!
Utah Bob #35998 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Looks like about 6" on the field. Don't know when I've see that. Reminds me of some of the Vikings games back in the day.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Remember the old AFL white footballs? That would be a problem today in Philly.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 This here game is gettin interesting!
BONEYARD BILL, SASS #39,030 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I can't believe all the fans at that game - don't they have TVs?

With just cold and no snow predicted, I'd go. I have lots of very warn clothes. As long as it wasn't windy. Or foggy.
Calico Mary Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 We ain't got much in the way of clothes ta stay warm for 4+ hours in 12 degrees.....
BLACKFOOT SASS #11947 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Reminded me of the Dallas/Packer game Dec. 31, 1967. Lafitte
JudgeBagodonuts Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I can't believe all the fans at that game - don't they have TVs? Eagles fans are a hearty bunch. Plus, the forecast for Sunday was for light scattered snow noon until mid afternoon, then light snow until the evening. Had the forecast been correct, the snow wouldn't have been much of an issue. Unfortunately, the forecast was wrong. It started snowing at my place (30 miles west of the stadium) at 11:30. By noon, it was coming down like crazy and laying on the roads. As you saw on TV, it just kept snowing and snowing.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Yay, Eagles won. BOO, Lions lost GG ~
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Yay, Eagles won. BOO, Lions lost GG ~ How does one estimate win/loss in those conditions. Wonder how hot the showers were after the game. My sympathy went out to the players.

My sympathy went out to the players. The score. as for the players - they get paid tens of thousands if not millions - that might help with the 'pain' in those conditions. GG ~
