Snake River Clay SASS #34984 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Agree with all but the second one-you can ALWAYS trust a Sergeant!!
DocWard Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Agree with all but the second one-you can ALWAYS trust a Sergeant!! I lost a $15,000 dollar bonus because of a Sergeant First Class perjuring himself in an affidavit. I wouldn't trust him farther than I could throw a tank, and I would love to bump into him in a dark alley... On the other hand, I have had a Warrant Officer scare the living daylights out of me.

Isn't that part of their job description, scare the living daylights out of people?
DocWard Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Isn't that part of their job description, scare the living daylights out of people? I never checked, but I knew a couple who were good at it.
Brother King, SASS #69031 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 The ol' man (E8 ret 291/2) was fond of saying "never trust anyone who is bucking for a promotion). When I was a teenager once I asked, "but, Dad isn't everyone bucking for a promotion?".... To which he replied, "EXACTLY....now you're getting it"
