Dorado
Just saw this. Kinda cool. http://www.wimp.com/rarecloud/ Also known as a rare tube or roll cloud, this amateur video is fromTimbercreek Canyon just south of Amarillo, Texas. Scientists arecurrently unsure why these clouds form, but they do not generally havean effect on weather.

Charlie Harley, #14153
I'd be listening for trumpets if I saw a loud like that. It is not natural.
El Sabre
Saw one oriented north/south and just off the approach ends of 26 and 27 at IAH (Houston Intercontinental) a few years ago. Some heavy weather had just blown through. Yup, it surely was spooky looking, but I never heard any mention of it later on. Like this one, it was easy to make out as it was surrounded by clear air. Virgil Ray Hality, SASS# 37355
I would be expecting it to be a worm hole or a twister that did not yet go vertical. Spooky!
