Haven't laughed so much in days!

Of course, we didn't do much better on European countries. On the other hand, our states don't CHANGE all the time, like a lot of their countries.

And yess! I can name most of the countries on the European map. Some have changed names and borders in the last few years, so I don't know them all.

I noticed not one, not even ONE TRIED to name that state north of lake Michigan and south of Canada.

Um, I think this was satire? I.e. an attempt at humor. I don't believe it was an intended to challenge the geograpical abilities of the populace.

Most Americans can’t even name the provinces of Canada let alone place them in the

Haven't been able to name the PM of Canada since Pierre Trudeau. I doubt 99.99 percent of Americans could name a shire or define the boundaries of the countries composing the U.K., either. What is shameful is the number of Americans who couldn't fill in the map of the U.S. correctly!

Humorous, and to be expected outside one's own borders. But:

 

In this day and age, where incredible information is available at your fingertips, round the clock, why do so many know so much less about the world than their ancestors......

 

And te Brits are far better in this regard than we are.
