Captain Clark
Sure not the prettiest, but my Ruger Mk1 4 digit serial # has been through thick and thin with me. My dad traded a pair of roller skates for it when I was just a kid. Actually beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I be the holder! Guess I've had that silly little pea shooter for 40+ years now! Blackwater 53393
It's a toss-up between my 1860 Colt copies with the Willy McCoy custom checkered army grips and my 1875 Remingtons with the giraffe bone grips, also checkered by Willy McCoy. I got big hands with long fingers and these pistols work best for me. I have a second set of Remmies that I'm thinkin' of sending to my buddy Mogollon Drifter for some special checkering. These are 5 1/2" .45 cal pistols that I'm thinking of having some heavy modifications done to.
Creeker, SASS #43022
Smith & Wesson Model 28 Highway Patrolman. Purchased when I was 15 years old - paid for with the very first paycheck I ever earned. N-Frame 357 magnum Revolver. 4" barrel - My Dad and I drove to Magna Port and Larry Kelly himself did my barrel for me. Learned how to disassemble, polish and tune a DA Smith - that gun has a trigger that breaks like glass. At 16 years old - I was using that gun to compete in (and win) practical revolver competitions. I taught my wife to shoot using that revolver and it is currently the firearm that resides on her night stand. I was numerous times offered much more money than the gun was worth, but I am glad I never let it go. I have never handled another that just felt so "right"

Berretta 92 F I carried after & overseas. Dan Wesson .357, first gun carried as a deputy, 1986. Sig, 226 when we transitioned to semi- auto. Glock 22 carried now. Remington 870. Nothing like the sound of it being racked, followed by freeze, mother............! My dad's Stevens 311which I use occasionally for SASS. But last Christmas my new granddaughter got my Blackhawks custom action work & custom grips w/ silver inlays of my SASS initials on one grip & my real initials & deputy ID # on the other. Sage Creek Gus SASS #64320
My Winchester 1885 Lo Wall in 22 rimfire built in 1889. It has a heavy barrel, single set trigger and shotgun style buttplate. I've had the barrel sleeved and it will shoot as good a group as my Winchester 52 or my Remington 40x rimfire. Krazy Kajun
My favorite is the first gun I ever bought...a Remington 870 Wingmaster..12 g 30" plain barrel with a full choke. I bought that gun used when I was 13 years old...back in 1967...saved up $55 from my paper route. I toted that shotgun around all over the marshes of South Louisiana as a teenager and bagged a lot of ducks and geese with it. It's not worth a lot of money but I'm not after any money for it....I'm holding on to it to pass on to my grandson. Kajun

Kid Russell
My Colt Officers Model Target in 22 caliber i I pick just one. Incredible smooth action and trigger and accuracy to die for and the fit and finish is a thing of beauty. Next month- maybe tomorrow I might have to pick a different Colt. It would be easier to pick one rim fire, one center fire, one single action, one double action, one semiautomatic and do the same with rifles and then shotguns ect.
