Trigger Mike
I know from observation why the chicken crossed the road, why another chicken did not cross the road and what happened to the one that did cross the road. I have a dirt road (drive) by my chicken coop. Foxes and coyotes kept eating the chickens, so my favorite hen that survived it all decided to cross the road to get away from the woods where her friends all got ate. Once on the other side of the road, now in the open yard, I found a pile of her feathers where a hawk ate her. Another hen opted to not cross the road and instead moved further into the woods. She is stll alive, she sleeps in the trees.
