Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438 Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 I'm only a casual sports fan - but this weekend was a real fantasy for Boston teams and their followers. David Ortiz smacks a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth, tying the game with the Tigers. and ending up with a walk-off win in the ninth, tying the series. Then Tom Terrific lays one into the back corner of the end zone in the final seconds of the game with the Saints, snatching a win out of the jaws of defeat. I listened to both games on the radio - AND GAVE UP ON BOTH TEAMS, leaving the broadcasts when it looked like both would be losses.
