Charlie MacNeil, SASS #48580
.243 loaded with 75 grain Hornady hollow points is definitely a 300 yard coyote whacker... I've got 2 .223's and a .243, and my .243 goes to the coyote ranges with me a lot more often than either of the the .223's...
Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001
Well , I got foolish and traded off the SS 243 , I had , thinking it be time to find another one the H&Rs , make a dandy little walking rifle , normaly only get and need 1 shot CB
Sagebrush Burns, SASS # 14226
Antelope and .243 just seem to go together in my mind. Of course, that is all emotional thinking. I have never hunted antelope nor have I ever hunted with a .243. Guess I have lived a sheltered life. I've been lucky enough to do a fair amount of antelope hunting and the 243 is my favorite.
