Just a cautionary message:

Kids might think it's cool. Politically-driven, brown-nosing, frothing-at-the-mouth, socialist school administrators may not.

Personally, I always was very careful to keep my personal business, politics, likes and dislikes, etc., private and separate from my work. That, of course, is different from properly speaking your mind, contributing and interacting strongly in your work-related environment.

My advice, for what it's worth, is that if you rely on any income received from that work effort (a job), you may consider it wise to keep your gun hobby off the radar at work

But, "A man oughtta do what he thinks is best."

The printed bullet holes, while not as cool looking, are more practical. They hold more and the coffee will stay hot longer.

I can make mugs like that. I do similar things all the time. I do hunting and shooting motif mugs in my classroom ( I'm a high school Ceramics teacher) all the time. As a matter of fact, my mug on my desk right now is covered with a faux cartridge belt, full of faux bullets - and a Ruger logo on the side. I carry in in conferences, meetings with administrators, and even when I'm around my flaming liberal co-workers. They know it's just part of me. My students ape what I do, so several similar types of pottery have left my room and headed to homes, with nary a thing ever said about it. I embrace the hunting and shooting lifestyle. Everyone in my rural community knows that. They know that I'm a responsible individual and not a "weirdo."

Such is the beauty of small-town country life...

If you want a mug with bullet holes in it, and you can't find anything commercially, I can do one for $15.00. And it'll look a darn sight better than the one on eBay!
