Marshal Dan Troop 70448
My father flew the 109, he said it was nimble, easy to operate, loved it. When the 190 came out, as a senior pilot, he was given one. But later, got permission, and took another 109 available. Flew it till the end of the war, when he and his squadron flew them to British held zones and surrendered, along with the planes, 109s and 190s.
