Michigan Slim
My Lee molds drop .459 time after time. Tumble lube and shoot as-is. I shoot the 340 grainers myself.
Muleshoe Bill SASS #67022
Well, I am going to sit down and cast some bullets this week. IF you are sold on 405 gr... I might suggest the 405 hollow base. Heck tell you what, I'll cast you up some and send them to you. now no time table heck it was 103 today in my backyard under the 80 YO pecan. at 4:00PM. BUT I'll case some and size them for you, (have to get a .458) die too, but what the heck. Muleshoe
Michigan Slim
Precision Reloading has the Lee .459-405 mold but is out of the hollow base design. That is all I found on the sites in my Favorites folder.
John Boy
SOUTH-PACIFIC, the 405 hollow base of flat base bullet is a 200yd bullet. If you plan to shoot longer distances, recommend stepping up to a 500gr bullet. Try these bullets first and if your rifle likes them - buy the mold * http://westernbullet.com/ly4gr10.html * http://westernbullet.com/ly4gr11.html
