Bottom Dealin Mike, SASS #22273 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I was out shooting a pair of Cimarron London Model 1851 Navy revolvers yesterday, and I thought you all might like a little peak at them in action. I gave two fisted shooting a try, but it is painfully obvious that I lack the skill to pull it off. My hat is off to those of you who make it look easy.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Nice video Mike - but remember - targets at most CAS matches are a wee bigger than that You'd do fine shootin' GF! GG ~
Tom Bullweed Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I see real potential here, especially shooting in a GF Frontier category. My attempt at practicing GF: right gun fine, left gun reasonable groups 8" to the right of POA. Right eye dominant, left hand challenged.
Widder, SASS #59054 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Hey Bottom Dealer hombre, I thought it looked good and very promising. Don't sell yeowndangself short. You just might make a dern good GF. Course, its always a good thing to have the proper grip on your pistols before you clear leather..... ..........Widder
Checotah Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Shucks, Pard. You do well enuff as far as I'm concerned. Of course, I don't compete in Gunfighter. I do shoot GF, but don't compete...
Crash Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I shoot GF as well . I found out that I do it really badly. .a n d s lo w. But nobody has a bigger grin than ol' Crash Timer? What timer I did not see no timer.. Crash
Madd Mike #8595 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 gunfighter category is a mind set however, cap and ball pistols for gunfighter, is asking for trouble, as there is a high potential of problems, where you need one hand free to rotate the cylinder, for the next shot (jam due to part of a cap etc) just something to thing about gunfighter category rocks just give some consideration to cap and ball 51's I know, as I have a beautiful pair of second gen (real colt) 51's, been there and done that
