Howdy:

Sometime back I recall there being conversation regarding tempered or harded replacement firing pins for the Howell conversion cylinders. Does anyone remember who made them?

The smith shop but I don't have the contact info any more. The firing pi s are worth the money

are they better than the factory ones that come with the conversion cylinders?

Howdy (again):

Looks like the Smith SHop has firing pins for the Open tops, not the Ruger Cylinders - I will look again, but I only saw pins for the hammers, not the conversion cyklinders.

You have to call or email them , because they don't list them on the site. There are also 2 different sizes if I remember correctly they are like 13 buck a piece (don't hold me or them to that price) Edited by The Shoer 27979
