Chili Ron
Howdy, I have a fair condition 1892 that works ok after visiting two gunsmiths. I really like case colors, but I have only one such. Im thinkin that the 1892 would look great with case colors. Would it hurt the resale? If so would it be by much? Any one having done this, have any tips ideas etc????? (really is etc misspelled? I don't believe it) Ive never had any sort of refinishing done so all comments and places to avoid are welcome. contact on or off the wire. I really like the 1892, one of my favs. Best CR and thanks aheadotime
Grizzly Adams 3674
Prices on original 1892s have jumped significantly in the last few years. In most cases, refinishing an original 1892 will decreased it's value to a collector. That said, if you really enjoy the rifle as much as you say, have it cased colored and continue to enjoy it! Life is too short not to eat off the good china!
