Snakebite
If you decide to start "Fine Tuning" one of the new Winchester 73s, do so very carefully. If you break a part or "Over-tune" one, you will be out in the cold for a while. I just got off the phone with Winchester parts dept, trying to buy some spare parts for their New 73. I was told that there ARE NONE, and that it would be 6 mo to a year before they will be available.... even small things like springs and such!! So... be careful what you do. The gun is nice, and has a great deal of potential, but for right now if you need a factory part, you will just have to wait! I expect that some after market parts/springs will be available before too long. If Winchester expects to market this gun to the Cowboy Action Shooter, they need to be prepared to supply the CAS needs. Snakebite
