Nevada: Help Gov. Sandoval veto NV SB221

Hello the Wire,

 

One of our members working security at our state capital has given us a heads up that our Governor Sandoval (Nevada) has set up a telephone poll line in reference to the Nevada SB 221 which adds additional layers of background checks in firearms transactions. Governor Sandoval has the opportunity to veto this bill and we can voice our opinion by calling and pressing the #2 button. A couple of items to note:

 

1. this is a 10 day window for the use of this office phone number (I have just heard about it today, 6/6/13)

2. allegedly the system has been refined, whereby phone prefixes from outside the state of Nevada are separated from the in-state prefixes

 

I have no doubt that the anti-gunners will flood the system from everywhere in the nation, and will trust that which I have stated above.

I have cast my vote from every phone/cell phone I have in the house.
