Seamus McGillicuddy
If any of you ever get the chance to tour Ypres, Belgium do not miss the site of Dr. McCrae's aid station where he wrote the poem. In a tragic irony the good doctor was "killed" very late in the war not by gunfire etc. but he became infected by one of the many wounds he treated & died. It is good that at least one time a year we are reminded of his and all of the other sacrifices made by those in the interest of our liberty.
