Cpt Dan Blodgett, SASS #75655
Looking to get a CW Era Ball Gown for the Nell as I call her tough when you were an army captain and the wife was a Lieutenant Colonel (hence the Nell) Looking for recommendations of where to look for one. We will be in Gettysburg for the 150th, may be a decent place to start.

Singin' Sue 71615
Does she or anyone she knows, sew? The Mc Call as well as Simplicity both have easy Civil War gowns in the 'costuming' part of their book! Don't forget Miss Tabitha....She can make Nell an outfit of her choice.... Guli Productions. ( correct me anyone , if this is not her page) Enjoy!

Scary Indian Dude
Howdy Cpt Dan You might try Aspen Filly she can do a gown, engrave guns, and even do leather. She travels to most of the big shoots. http://www.aspenfillys.com/clothing.html give her a shout. SID
Pay Dirt Norvelle #90056
If you happen to know anyone who does Civil War reenacting you might ask them if they know of a seamstress. When my wife needed some Civil war dresses we had one of our goup memebers make her one. My wife now has three dresses, Ball gown and day dresses.
