Several years ago there was a story about a fellow who bought a 8mm Mauser from Roses, converted the stock to a pistol grip and cut the barrel to about 8". He would walk up to a car at a stoplight, point the gun at the driver and demand money. I think that muzzleblast would be enough to shock and dismember!
