Subdeacon Joe
http://basedheisenberg.tumblr.com/post/48285404061/the-nra-bought-congress If so, then Congress is damned cheap to buy - the NRA spent less than $3,000,000 for lobbying. "The Gun “Lobby” spent $2,980,000 dollars on lobbying in congress, putting then behind 170 other special interest groups, and just shy of $20million outside of congress (non lobbying), which still only puts them at the top 15th spot." Charlie Harley, #14153
What the pundits don't seem to realize is that the NRA is not effective because of inside-the-beltway lobbying. It's effective because... A) There are millions of active members spread out in every district in the country, and... The values of the NRA reflect values of most Americans, even if they are not active members. Link to comment
Guest Cemetery
Funny how the media doesn't report in how much Bloomberg spent on lobbying for his 'special' interests. Link to comment
