We are opposing any infringement on our God given rights that are confirmed in the Bill Of Rights.

 

No such LAW will do anything to prevent a CRIMINAL from harming or killing a loved one. Man written laws do not mean anything to those who are intent on criminal behavior!! Your arguments don't hold water. Anything that dilutes one's right and ability and access to rescorces needed to defend one's loved ones and one's self and property should be vigorously opposed and vehemently objected to. :FlagAm:

The court seems to disagree with your view and GOD given rights ?? When you get locked up you lose your so called God given rights.

"We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are "created" equal, that they are endowed by their "creator" with certain unaliable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness".

 

Yes, men, our Founding Fathers wrote our Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. They acknowledged, that there was a "God", by also adding the words "created", and "creator", But they also, you are correct in separation of government from the church. But the separation was not to not acknowledge, but rather to prevent the persecution, and reason for many people coming to America, Freedom of Religion.

 

I don't understand your stance, it's like listening, reading a politician's stance for election. You need to show us, rather then we answer you, were new laws, added to old laws, will reduce, takeaway guns from criminals, and how new laws will make law abiding citizens safer. And why even debate, new laws, that only legitimate owners, collectors will feel the effect and follow.

I believe in debating as you have so strongly written throughout this forum, but lets debate not the reducing, elimination, and adding burdens to the law-abiding gun owner, and purchaser. But lets debate why the laws already on the books aren't taking and reducing the firearms from the unlawful. Remember, it was government that allowed firearms to be put in the hands of drug dealers, and criminals, these same guns, killed a Border Patrol officer, and probable numerous innocent across the border. You write "debating" is good, but for almost 200 years, there was no need to debate our 2nd Amendment, our Freedom of Religion, nor Freedom of Speech. Yet today all 3 are in danger. Limiting our second, religion and speech. Can't believe you don't see nor feel these. These were written not to control the people, but rather limit the government and its powers. Try and remember what our Founding Fathers reasoning's were for writing these, and the sacrifices they, and many have given and to preserve, forever.
