The weather was beautiful the entire weekend, not the monsoon of 2012.The stages were well written with enough movement for everyone and somethat required a bit of thought about the best plan of action. Sevenstages were shot on Saturday and five on Sunday. The Saturday dinnerwhich was a wide choice pizzas and ice cream was enough for all thosepresent and then some. Sunday the shooting was over by 11:50am and bythe time the awards were presented most people were on the road by1:30pm!Deadwood pointed out this was just a glimpse of the new improved Guns ofAugust 2013! One new item for GOA 2013 is it WILL NOT be a lost brassmatch. Brass pickup will be allowed as long as it does not hold up theother posses.BIg Irons will be holding a match this Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Middletown Sportsman's Club. mean gun mark Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Im sure I can echo everyone on our possee that we had a great match.As always Lassiter does great stages,the pizzas were piping hot....The more black powder I shoot , the more I like it.Had a great time and I promise I Will be back next year....Already looking forward to GOA.
