I left that link and this message on the Hon. Mr. Mike Thompson's Facebook page:

 

A photo on Facebook prompts an anonymous tip that brings CPS and LEOs
down on the family with demands to search the house and the gun safe,
but death threats reported by a shrink, along with comments that the
thug is a danger to society gets shrugged off.

But the problem is obviously guns.

I find myself wanting to say, "Norman, correlate!"

Sounds like the shrink dropped the ball, but LE lost the whole damned stadium.

But, yeah, blame the guns. Blame gun owners who did nothing. Eliminate
civil rights. Just don't fix the system. That way you, Mr. Thompson,
can count on another atrocity you can use to further both your political
career and your anti-civil rights agenda. Well done, sir, well done.

Bingo,thats the reason the mental heath issue when it comes to guns will never be fixed. Each time a mentally disabled or mentally disturbed person kills with a gun the anti gunners will use that incident to advance there agenda. Its not about crime and its not about the people killed its about them finding an excuse to take our guns away. If people where being killed wholesale it would be different. These incidents are a small percentage when it comes to death by other means. Its the media that exploites the incident and fed and state goverments that feel compelled to do something even if its not the right thing to do. And then there are those in goverment that are out to destroy this countrys constitution or subvert it. I fear for the future of this counrty if it continues on this path.
