Hashknife Cowboy
I recently happened up a Ruger SR1911 Commander in a small gun shop. Being a Colt 1911 user and fan, I handled it and bought it. All I got to say, "Well done Ruger!" This is a keeper. Our local Cal Ranch is selling full size SR1911 for 699.00, plenty in stock.

Big Jake1001
Can't get Ruger SR1911 in California. I'll just have to make do with my Kimber TLE ll with the Springfield Mil Spec 1911A1 as back-up. Just sayin' Big Jake
Grizzly Dave
I got a real bad want for a Ruger 1911. Now if I get the full sized, I can use it in WB if I ever get around to getting the other guns, but the commander feels real good in my hand too.... I don't know what to do.... Other than get one of each! I wish.
Kulshan 20262
Those SR1911s are nice guns. The day after the election I bought my 2nd one, both 5 inchers. I have used the first one for WB with no problems. I did switch out the springs for the Wolff from Brownells, GM 452 with a 16 1/2 lb variable power recoil spring.
