Doc Cherokee, SASS#48332
I just read Alvin Lee has died from complications from surgery..Ten Years After guitarist, singer, and frontman, his awesome solo on "I'm Going Home" was one of the highlights of the 1969 Woodstock festival, probably one of the best and most memorable blues-rock solos of all time..They also had a hit with "I'd love To Change The World", another great song, even if Michael Moore did use it in one of his films.. Sad..Too many of the great players of the '60's and '70's are passing away..RIP Alvin..

Calamity Kris
I was listening to Jim Ladd on the sat this afternoon when he made the announcement. He played a fine tribute to him featuring many artists that were Lee's friends. He also included the performance from Woodstock. Ladd closed the tribute with George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass". Jam on, sir. We'll miss you.
