Deuce Stevens SASS#55996
Was wondering if anyone is using a Dillon SDB in 45schofield and loading the little stubby EPP bullet. Are you able to adjust the seating depth correctly for that bullet? Thanks in advance for the help.
Brooklyn Slim
I used my SDB to load .45 schofield, but really had to crank down the .45lc seating die. Worked OK. I've since bought the 45 schofield die set, and base plate, from Dillon.
Tom Payne 13115
Duce I use a 200 gr head with good results. I am not familiar with the EPP you speak of.
Buffalo Dick, SASS #12880
I played around with the .45 Cowboy Special loads on my Square Deal (didn't like them much). I used the .45 Colt shellplate with the .45 acp dies. I'm not sure whether that would work with the Schofield brass.
Mad Dog Jack, SASS #77862
I normally load a 200gr rnfp in my SD, but loaded some 147 gr round balls once just to check them out. It worked, but a lot of finangling with the seating die, and some with the crimp. sorry but do not know the bullet you reference.
Yusta B.
The bullet referred to is the EPP UG from Dick Dastardly. It's a 150 gr .45 - the El Paso Pete Ultra Gamer.
