We all hoisted a glass and said something about Tom Muley's passing. Gonna miss those Bar-B-Q's with the Homemade Ice Cream and Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler. Prayers up for Sandi and family. But from his posts and all I’ve read of his actions, and all that those close to him have said, it’s evident that he was about as good a friend as a person could or would every have. The stories shared after his cookouts always brought smiles and chuckles, and regrets of not having made the drive to share in the events… They say it’s not possible to miss something you’ve never experienced, nor someone you’ve never met. But they’re wrong. You certainly can miss someone you’ve never met… I’ll miss Tom. And I'm very sure that I'm not the only one. Just as I'm very sure that I'll not be the only "cowboy" sitting in the dark tonight with moist cheeks, raising a glass [in my case a blue enameled tin cup] to the memory and thoughts of a fine man.My and Sassparilla Kids most heartfelt condolences to his family.Here's to ya, Pard, until we finally do meet.

My biggest wish is to meet many of you one day face to face. I've never been disappointed meeting an old friend from the wire for the first time face to face. My sincerest condolences, to Sandi and to Tom's family and friends, along with those from my family. Peace and comfort to all.
