Utah Bob #35998
It's just my feelings Opposition Those good men on Bunker Hill had strong hearts and stronger will. And they bravely stood and fought as men still do. Now my brothers here today may not now be in harm’s way, But we need to stand and to our hearts be true. There are those across this land who will lend a willing hand To men who would control the way we live. They defame the Constitution as they pass their resolutions, Expecting us to take the crumbs they give But our conscience cannot bear it! We will take their law and tear it, For it tramples on our rights and we’re not slaves. We oppose those who will rule us, and scorn and try to school usIn what they think is how we should behave We are patriots of this land and we pledge not to stand and see our rights as citizens defiled They’ll not rob us of our right to defend ourselves and fight And turn us into subjects meek and mild No, we will not fight in vain and free men we’ll remain Though this struggle may last past our sons and theirs. Disarm us you may try but our spirit will not die! Our Bill of Rights will live on. This we swear! Link to comment
