Rye Miles #13621 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 All this talk of the AWB and limiting mag capacity got me to wondering' how we'd fare if the proverbial %^$# hits the fan with our CAS guns? I have several .44-40 revolvers and rifles, a couple of double barreled shotguns (Joe's favorite LOL) a 97, a couple of 1911's, a .30-30 Winchester and a H&R Buffalo Classic in .45-70. Oh yea throw in some .36 cal. C&B revolvers too. Think that's being underarmed? Personally I think it's fine! Ya'll????? Rye
Utah Bob #35998 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 If tshtf all I want is a good supply of likker.

Cheyenne Culpepper 32827 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 All depends on who you may come up against and how long you want to last.... CPBC
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Rye, you can only shoot one at a time. A stock pile of arms does not make an army.
Dogmeat Dad, SASS #48563L Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 One of the things that was important, at least at one point, was for the citizens to have firearms that use the same ammunition as the military. If you were ever conscripted during a national emergency, the advantage of sharing ammo was tremendous. That, of course, was back when the gov't remembered that they Worked For the Citizens, not Ruled Over the Citizens. But that is another topic altogether. DD

Wolfpack Jack Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I figure if you need more than six shots to get the job done, your plan's no good. Okay, maybe 10 shots.
Rooster Ron Wayne Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Big Brother has Tanks ,Missals,Air craft , Oh yeah Nooks ! I dont think much of any thing a Sullivan has at home will be enough . The only thing we have that WILL work, Is VOTING ! We all need to stand together, VOTE , and join the NRA !
Flashpowder Hal Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 It's not about being "safe", Gun control is simply about People Control, not safety. An Armed Citizen can demand a free vote, A disarmed man is simply a subject of the ruling class. Don't give them an inch!
Cheyenne Culpepper 32827 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Ever try shooting a lever gun in the prone position? CPBC

Hacker, SASS #55963 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Gun control is not about safety, crime control or anything else it is about CONTROL. Government CONTROL over citizens. Nothing else.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Gun control is not about safety, crime control or anything else it is about CONTROL. Government CONTROL over citizens. Nothing else. But the control is for our own safety. Just ask any of the comrades.
wes Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I like to think any hand gun could buy enough time to open up the arsenal!
Subdeacon Joe Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Ever try shooting a lever gun in the prone position? CPBC "Gangstah" grip.

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 The internet and hollywood. Two place to find the solution to any given situation. One is smoke and mirrors and the other is just smoke.
Blue Wolf , SASS# 29424L Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 The trick is to use their guns and ammo, after you use yours to get theirs. Their's has ammo in the supply line and on the fallen. Blue Wolf
