Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
Got some free time this week, so I made a run around some NE gunshops; thought I'd share the view. Please remember that inventories are changing rapidly. Blue Northern - Ayer, MA Cases for handguns almost empty - a few new guns, almost no used guns. Racks for rifles and shotguns- not a black rifle in sight Reloading - supplies very low; limited brass, few bullets, big gaps in powder cabinet, no primers Per Bill, it's day-to-day with the suppliers - call ahead and ask. He did call me last week about receiving a few S&W Sport versions (I was on a list for a M&P 15); they are long gone. Riley's - Hooksett, NH Parking lot is full - out onto the highway No pistol primers Some brass; decent supply of bulk Cowboy bullets; Stock of black rifles is growing again - S&W, LMT, Windham New Vaquero Birdshead, black grips, .45LC - $600 25# of 7 1/2 shot - $43 100 .38 Special brass - Winchester - 23.50 500 158g .38 RNFP Cowboy bullets - $54 Shooter's Outpost - Hooksett, NH - busy. My second visit here - big, bright, and at the top end of the pricing range - but they have inventory. Primers and powder in stock. Lots of new guns - semi-auto pistols (S&W, Colt's, Sig, Beretta, etc.) Lots of new rifles (Black and otherwise) and shotguns (But not MA Compliant, guys). A few used guns. Ruger Gunsite rifles - 8 on the rack - $699. Maybe 10-12 Cowboy revolvers (nothing MA compliant); no Cowboy rifles or shotguns that I could see. They opened in January....somebody has a great sense of timing Didn't make it to Four Seasons - still sulking over missing out on a Schofield 2000 by hours 2 weeks ago.
